RMS is a Windows-based program, with Lotus and Excel versions, to facilitate the cost separations computations as specified by the FCC.
RMS has two system components: The cost allocator component offers mechanized spreadsheets to complete revenue requirements in accordance with FCC PARTS 36/69. The revenue manager component monitors rates of return and helps project costs, expenses, earnings and revenue requirements monthly, quarterly and annually.
WGA continually enhances RMS and regularly provides RMS users with program updates as needed to remain current with changing FCC cost allocation rules and software technology.
RMS produces a variety of reports, including:
Part 36 jurisdictional revenue requirements.
Part 69 revenue requirements by access element for inter- or intrastate and inter- or intralata jurisdictions.
NECA EC1050 Access Pool Reporting Components
Access revenue requirements for budgeting, rate development, and rate-of-return analysis.
