OPASTCO's 2006 Associate Member Distinguished Service Award was presented to Dick Gesinger of Warriner, Gesinger and Associates, LLC for his outstanding efforts to increase associate members' involvement in OPASTCO's committees and conventions.

From 2001-2006, Gesinger chaired OPASTCO's Associate Member Committee and became the first associate member to join OPASTCO's Board of Directors. Gesinger made many presentations at telecommunications industry events encouraging consultants and vendors to join OPASTCO and work with rural carriers to better serve rural consumers. Under Gesinger's leadership, the Associate Member Committee published an exhibitor guide enabling participants in OPASTCO's annual trade show to make the most of the one-on-one time they spend with rural telco representatives.

On a personal level, Gesinger serves on the Board of Elders at Hope Community Church and has two children and four grandchildren.
